On this site, you will find empowerment tools in the form of tips, strategies and thought provoking ideas, to strengthen the learning process. The tools can also be used to support concepts taught in the classroom, thus expanding their knowledge base and academic functioning . These tools can also help one develop an understanding of how their skills can be used to find solutions to their problems.
With the many challenges youth face today, they must be equipped with skills to sustain them, as they compete in this global society, and everyday life.
I am Ruby Freeman, an academic coach, author and mentor with over three decades of combined experience in counseling, teaching and facilitating services with students with special needs. I am passionate about helping pre-teens and teens become more confident so they can reach their full potential, and experience success in the classroom and beyond.
