Where did the summer go? Labor Day has come and gone, and the kids are back in school. There never seem to be enough time, during the summer months, for sleeping late, and doing all of the fun things that you want to do with the kids.
I often wonder why our last holiday at the end of the summer vacation, is often rainy and cool. We know that sometime near Labor Day weekend, it’s time to pull out the sweaters, jackets and the gloves. Even though we know there will be many more warm days before winter, it’s just an interesting phenomenon.
This is such a happy time of the year for me. I enjoy watching the parents and grandparents shop, and get the children ready for the first day of school. They move slowly down the aisles, browsing for the preprinted school supply list provided by their child’s teacher. They compare the quality of the items on the list, and look to see what’s on sale. Carefully and methodically, they select the items that are needed to get the kids off to a great start.
My wishes for the new school year:
- A fun and uninterrupted school year.
- The best teachers in the USA
- Meaningful weekly homework assignments, and no work on the weekend.
- Lots of opportunities for speaking in public, and creative written expressions.
- Healthy meals and lots of exercise.

How long can my computer keep running with an outdated browser?. I browser my computer is outdated. However my computer’s little outdated too, and doesn’t have what it would need to run the new browser. Should I start saving up for a new one, or can this problem be dealt with for a few more years yet?. .
